Job Description:

You’ll assist experienced winemakers and cellar staff with tasks such as grape processing, fermentation, barrel work, sanitation, and other assigned duties. You’ll be responsible for following safe cellar practices, operating winery equipment, racking and pumping juice and wine, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding and observing all safe storage rules.
Perform setting up the equipment duties.
Clean, purify, and disinfect all making wine tools and facilities.
Services include wine and juice payments, storing, combining, and equipment transfer.
Chemical and healthy additions to juice and wine.
Understanding of container operations includes filling, breaking, and finishing.
Lift operation, including transporting drums and boxed items.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Previous work in a winemaking environment is perfect but not important.
Lift experience is helpful but not necessary.
Must be able to understand and deliver verbal and written security and work directions in English.
This role needs strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Must be able to work safely near electrical wiring and systems.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

The applicant selected for this role must be loyal and have an excellent work record.
Must be flexible and ready to work any shift and overtime as needed, especially during production.
Must be able to carry and lift at least 50 kilograms.
Before being hired, physical and legal drug tests must be done.
